It is important to find a yoga class that suits your needs. I can help to determine which class would be best. Whichever you choose, I will encourage you to “Honor your body.” Below is an overview of my classes.
This Hatha yoga style class focuses on postures (also called Asanas), breathing techniques and meditation. It is appropriate for beginning and continuing students. This practice improves overall strength, flexibility, balance, core strength and ends with a rejuvenating relaxation period (Savasana).
This class is appropriate for those recovering from an injury/illness and those requiring some modifications to traditional yoga poses. It also improves overall strength, flexibility, balance and ends with a rejuvenating relaxation period (Savasana).
This class is perfect for those who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor. We begin seated in a chair for warm-ups and practice standing poses behind a chair to assist with balance, if needed. This class improves strength, flexibility and balance.
If a student is new to yoga and would prefer individual instruction, I offer private sessions throughout the week. These one-on-one classes allow me to evaluate your poses and limitations, and then help you modify accordingly. The cost for these individual one-hour sessions is $75.
It's been a long winter, and sometimes the stress of work, life, health issues, or simply being cooped-up inside all these months can take a toll. So here's a recent meditation class, my compliments.
In these trying times, we need meditation more than ever. Here is a recent meditation class I did for you to enjoy.
This is one of my Beginner/Intermediate classes. Remember to always "honor your body" if a pose is too difficult. (Due to copyright issues you'll have to provide your own music for this class.)
